Forestry

Stanley Wright manage and advise on over six thousand hectares of woodland and forestry on farms and estates. We manage and advise on all forestry works from designing schemes and grant applications through to harvesting and restocking as well as on-going management.

Maximising returns from forestry is about more than marketing timber, we can advise on how to recoup costs and generate profit from established and emerging markets including biomass and carbon trading

Natural Capital

Encompassing the world’s stock of natural resources – earth, air, water, soil and biodiversity it delivers ecosystem services which benefit society as a whole and whilst in its infancy and evolving quickly there are significant opportunities for landowners.

At SW we are currently involved with Natural Capital Baseline Assessments, opportunity mapping, evaluation of and development of commercial opportunities, stakeholder engagement and project development and management.

Landlord & Tenant

In a varied portfolio, we manage residential, agricultural, sporting and commercial properties. We can find suitable tenants, negotiate terms, deal with the preparation of appropriate tenancy agreements and provide on-going management, including rent reviews and relations to capital values.

Accounting, Rent Collection, Payroll & Cashflow Control

Stanley Wright provides a full management accounting service that includes the preparation of budgets and monthly management accounts.

We administer payrolls, submit VAT returns, manage and reconcile bank accounts, and keep financial records. We also work closely with our clients’ accountants and are able to provide working papers for audit purposes as and when required.

Property Renovation & Improvement

Stanley Wright has overseen the renovation and refurbishment of numerous properties and has a wealth of contacts to call upon.

Staff & Recruitment

Stanley Wright supports clients employing staff, from working up job descriptions and advertising roles, through to the interview process, selection, provision and agreement of contract, and induction.

We also provide advice on on-going issues such as housing employees, remuneration review, disciplinary action, and retirement policy.

Estate Strategy

We undertake whole estate reviews and advise on the development and delivery of Estate strategy. This may include assessing strengths and weaknesses, focussing on opportunities and implementing change.

Sporting

As well as extensive experience in the management of shooting and fishing, we offer guidance on specific sporting issues such as optimising the profitability of shoots, fishery management and putting in place sporting arrangements with neighbours.
